Sustainability Strategy and Projects
Strategy and Organization
CASA has vowed to reduce the climate and environmental impact of our buildings. As part of our 2023 sustainability strategy, we have strengthened our climate and environmental policy and adopted challenging objectives, which are presented on the subpages.
The sustainability strategy also includes the social aspects as work environment and the well-being for employees as well as education.
We have set up a sustainability organization with representatives from all parts of the business and employed a Sustainability Manager to oversee activity.
The manager is responsible for ensuring the implementation of CASA’s sustainability strategy and for acting as an internal DGNB auditor on selected sustainability-certified projects.
Sustainability-certified Projects
From 2022 CASA will certify the sustainability of all newly built housing and office developments based on recognized standards such as DGNB or The Nordic Swan Ecolabel. DGNB builds on traditional sustainability thinking based on social, economic and environmental quality. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel mostly focuses on environmental aspects.
