148 ‘Plus’ Houses With Focus on Sustainable Shared Housing

Teglsøerne (Plushusene) is Nivå’s new shared housing arrangement consisting of 148 rented accommodation divided into terraced houses, tower blocks and generation houses as well as a communal house. The accommodation is distributed as follows: 48 two-story terraced houses, 80 apartments in six three- and four-story tower blocks as well as 20 three-story generation houses. The generation houses have been built to accommodate the older generation of a family on the ground floor, while children and grandchildren live above. The shared housing arrangement has direct access to lakes and green path systems.
Plushusene will be certified according to the DGNB Gold standard. Charging stations will be mounted and solar cells will be used to generate power for communal activities. All other energy will be acquired jointly from green providers.
